The Anger

God loved the world so much
He sent His Son to pay for sin
But when rejected God became
quite angry at those sinful men

He gnashed His mighty teeth
and lightening bolts tore through the skies
The sun was hid from view
when from the shame He closed His eyes

His mighty fists were clenched
as giant dark clouds across the scene
Resounding thunder groaned His heartache
"How could men do deeds so mean"?

The temple veil was rent,
an act God knew was overdue
Never again would mere man's ritual
stand between your God and you

The gates of hell were split wide-open
  open graves unleashed the dead
And all those at the cross or tombs
were struck with awesome fear and dread

He cracked the rocks restraining vengeance
against the world and all the stars
And all rocks bear that testimony. . . .
. . . even the rocks on Mars

Yet Jesus arose and testimony
to that fact God's words still tell
So believe in Him. . . and live forever
. . . or FOREVER rot in HELL !!!
